L1284 Economy Jumper

Vintage 1940s wartime Economy Jumper No. 312 knitting pattern. This is a great WW2 era pattern for a short sleeve pullover sweater designed specifically for using up small bits of yarn… a necessity during rationing. There are even instructions in the pattern for re-using wool from unravelled garments. Besides being cost-effective and thrifty though, this is a fantastic looking patchwork sweater that is thoroughly on-trend today!
