Complete late 1950s German sewing pattern drafting booklet containing 54 vintage sewing patterns for post war era fashions for women and men. This is a gorgeous collection of patterns including everything from cocktail dresses to tailored suits, as well as a fantastic plaid lumber jacket, a maternity skirt, and two really sharp men’s overcoats. The 36-page booklet contains pattern templates for all of the garments pictured.
A special ruler and curve (included) are used along with the miniature templates in the book to create a good range of sizes for each garment. The women's models, for example, can be drafted to fit a bust measurement from 80 - 120 cm (roughly 31.5" - 47.5”).
The booklet is in German, but instructions in English are included in their own PDF. The system is similar to Lutterloh, The Golden Rule, or Der Golden Schnitt and is very easy to work with. There are also plenty of instructional Youtube videos out there that are helpful for those unfamiliar with the process.
